Times Higher Education has named Middlesex among the UK’s top universities after the publication of its annual World University Rankings
Middlesex University has been included in the Times Higher Education’s (THE) annual World University rankings for the first time.
The international league table placed Middlesex in the 601-800 group of best universities in the world. Our inclusion is a welcome addition to the University’s continuing league table success.
Seventy-eight institutions from the UK are represented in THE’s 2016 world ranking of universities, with Middlesex University named joint 63rd among the UK universities in the league table.
The Times Higher Education’s 2015-2016 university league table has doubled in size and now includes the 800 best universities in the world, compared with the 400 universities listed in last year’s table.
Thirteen performance indicators are used to create the World University Rankings, including: teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry outcome.
Earlier this year THE named Middlesex one of the 150 best young universities in the world.
